Filter management manages Filter engines. Filter engine is a service that scans text/message against the sanction list, gives alert or no alert result. Filter engine utilizes the sanction list to scan text or messages. User can create many filter engines, using different set of sanction list.
For example, Department A need to scan customer data, only need to scan the sanction list with origin equal to OFAC, then user can create a new filter engine named Department A, for example, only with sanction list that origin is equal to OFAC. This not only makes scan much more efficient, it also makes test much easier.
